Mumbai Crime branch has arrested 14 people from the Malad area of Mumbai who were making people trade in forex. Forex trading is not allowed under regulations in India.
These people were calling users and offering them guaranteed returns if they trade through them in forex. A lot of users started facing loss and complaint to the police.
Police took cognisance of the matter and arrested these scammers involved in forex trading on banned platforms.
