A Dunkin’ restaurant was vandalized in Brockton Tuesday night after demonstrations turned violent.
Officers dispersed a large group of protesters who rioted outside the Police Station earlier in the evening some of which took off toward the Dunkin’ on Montello Street.
The restaurant, which is located just around the corner from the station, was looted and possibly set ablaze.
Footage from the scene appeared to show an orange glow coming from the roof of the building and shattered glass scattered along the storefront.
One person was taken into custody near the scene. It is unclear if they have been detained in connection with the vandalism.
Traffic was temporarily redirected around the area.
