China shows off fighter jet catapult-launch system

China's new-generation carrier-based fighter, the J-15T, has drawn wide attention for its catapult-launch system which allows it to achieve short-distance takeoff capability, and carry more weaponry.

J-15T, alongside other carrier-based aircrafts J-35 and KongJing-600, completed its inaugural electromagnetic catapult-assisted takeoff and arrested landing training on aircraft carrier, the Fujian.
