Cleveland weather forecast: Rain continues today, bigger system looms this weekend

We have some rain that will roll through northern Ohio today as an area of low pressure moves east. Showers will be on and off with mild highs in the mid 40s expected. Leftover showers tonight will give way to mainly cloudy skies on Wednesday. We'll turn slightly cooler tomorrow with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Quiet weather can be expected Thursday, too, as temps begin to warm again out ahead of a bigger weekend storm system.

We should push into the upper 40s to low 50s on Thursday. Rain will move in late Thursday into Thursday night as the first out of two rounds of rain moves in.

Round one of rain will move out Friday, giving us a break from the wet conditions. Highs will still push into the 50s Friday before a front settles just south of us bringing cooler conditions in Friday night. Another push of rain and warmer temps will try to move north into Ohio on Saturday before colder air and some snow blows in here on Sunday.
