Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers kick-off Conference Finals with Game 1

The Colorado Avalanche are four victories away from reaching the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 2001. First, they must get by a top-heavy Edmonton Oilers team. The Oilers are coming off a 4-1 series win against the Calgary Flames, while the Avalanche slayed their second-round demons by defeating the St Louis Blues in six games.
