Day 14 of my daily Unity game dev journey!
Today I dove into the world of save/load systems in Unity. I explored PlayerPrefs, JsonUtility, and Encrypted JSON methods to figure out what’s best for my game.
I’m leaning toward encrypted saving because I want to protect my players and my game from tampering — if there’s going to be cheating, I want to design it in myself!
Tomorrow, I’ll go deep into PlayerPrefs and break down when and why you should (or shouldn’t) use it.
???? Follow along if you're teaching yourself Unity too!
