DRDO’s Indigenous Combat Parachute System Passes 32,000-Foot Test

In a breakthrough for India’s defence research, DRDO’s indigenous Military Combat Parachute System has successfully undergone a combat freefall test from 32,000 feet. The parachute deployed at 30,000 feet the only one at this altitude currently used by Indian forces. The jump, executed by Wg Cdr Vishal Lakhesh, MWO R.J. Singh, and MWO Vivek Tiwari, highlighted the system’s superior performance and technological advancement.
