Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan says the baseline 10 per cent tariff imposed by the US on Singapore is still a disappointment and a drag on economic growth. This is even though the situation is not as bad as it initially sounded. But beyond the numbers, Dr Balakrishnan says what is of concern is how the global trading system is changing. He was speaking at a dialogue organised by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs.
