This is the third consecutive week that India's foreign exchange reserves have increased. The increase in reserves is due to a rise in both foreign currency assets (FCA) and gold. During the week ending December 19, the reserves saw an increase of $4.36 billion. According to data released by the Reserve Bank of India on Friday, India's foreign exchange reserves increased by $4.368 billion during the week ending December 19, 2025. The previous week had also seen an increase of $1.689 billion. The reserves now stand at $693.318 billion. It is worth noting that the foreign exchange reserves had reached a record high of $704.885 billion during the week ending September 27, 2024. Watch this video for complete details.
