today I'll be breaking down and giving you my prediction on the game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Giants at 1PM ESTThe Raiders are 3.5 point favorites right now with the total set at 46.5. 

The Raiders come in to this game at 5-2 and have been playing phenomenal football. As most people know though, their organization is going through alot. First they lost head coach John Gruden a few weeks back to some controversial emails that he sent. Now they are dealing with losing young wide receiver to an off the field incident where he was going 156 mph in a residential area and crashed into a vehicle killing a young woman and her dog. 

Ruggs had caught 24 passes on the year for 469 yards with 2 receiving touchdowns. He was a real speedster and losing him defenitely takes away an option that Derrick Carr used in his toolbelt. Carr has been effective through the air throwing for 2270 yards and 12 touchdowns with 5 interceptions.

Being a pass heavy team they have struggle on the ground though going for just 85 yards a game rushing, which ranks well into the bottom half of the league. Despite their lack of run game, theyre still averaging 25.7 points a game on average.

The Giants come into this one at 2-6 and their struggles on both sides of the ball have been well documented. Part of that is due to the loss of so many key players, but at the end of the day the next guy has to step up and take that players place. 

Daniel Jones has had a big problem turning the ball over. He's thrown for 1949 yards and thrown for 7 touchdowns but has also thrown 5 interceptions. 

While putting up slightly more yards a game on the ground than the Raiders, the giants have not done a good job running the ball. Saquon Barkley has been injured again for much of the year which hasnt helped, but their offensive line isnt doing them any favors either. Devontae Booker has rushed for 216 yards on the year and is averaging just 3.38 yards per carry. 

Defensively the Giants are giving up 382 yards a game to opposing teams and allowing 25 points per contest.

The Giants are coming off of a tough loss to the chiefs by 3 points where they were 10 point underdogs. We were all over the giants last week and we like them again to cover. They Raiders will be dealing with alot of emotions and sometimes off the field issues distract players just enough to lose a little bit of focus on the game and thats what is going to happen with this Henry Ruggs Issue. I'm taking the Giants as the home dogs +3.5
