In this sports betting tutorial, I explain how I started gambling. The goal of this video is to help explain sharp, data-driven sports betting and strategies that WORK. These strategies are profitable & proven to make money on FanDuel, DraftKings, PrizePicks, Underdog Fantasy, Fliff, etc.
Profitable sports betting & making money long-term is all about data & markets. Nobody wins every bet - it's all about getting an "edge" and winning long-term.
We go through middle betting, arbitrage betting & Positive EV. These are the three main data-driven, profitable sports betting strategies. The OddsJam sports betting software scans hundreds of sportsbooks, like FanDuel & DraftKings, to point out value & inefficiencies on sportsbooks.
I always loved sports & math, so I began to play poker in college. Poker is very data-driven & I enjoyed the math & strategy component it had. I avoided casino games like slots where it's impossible to win money long-term.
I explain that after playing poker, I got into options trading. I worked at Susquehanna International Group. Trading is very similar to sports betting. There's no such thing as "luck" long-term. There's proven strategies to make money trading.
Once sports betting came to the U.S. in 2018, I started taking advantage of sportsbook sign-up bonuses. I used FanDuel & DraftKings first. These are two of the largest bookmakers in the United States.
Sign-up bonuses are highly lucrative. I've done various sports betting tutorials on the FanDuel & DraftKings promos. I give my tips and advice for maximizing your sports betting profit from these promos.
Next, I started looking into other proven betting strategies that make money long-term. I began arbitrage betting. Arbitrage is a way to guarantee a profit based on differences in sportsbooks & where they have their odds. OddsJam has a tool for arbitrage.
I then learned about middle betting & Positive EV. Arbitrage is a lower risk sports betting strategy, and that appealed to me initially. However, as my bankroll grew, I started to research other sports betting strategies that make money.
