The 2024 FIDE World Chess Championship is a match in Singapore between reigning champion Ding Liren and challenger Gukesh Dommaraju to determine the next classical world champion.

The match will consist of up to 14 classical games with the first player to score 7.5 points becoming the world champion! The time control is 120 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment per move from move 41.
