In this video, Alex discusses profitable MLB betting strategies. That goal of this tutorial to go through ways to make money sports betting. Most of the strategies discussed in this video for finding sharp, profitable MLB bets can applied to other sports as well.

We start out discussing correlation betting. This strategy is highly profitable on fixed payout DFS platforms, including PrizePicks, Underdog Fantasy & Betr Picks. Alex explains that DFS platforms like PrizePicks have fixed payouts.

On PrizePicks, any 4 pick power play has a 10x payout. Alex explains that you can exploit correlation opportunities on these fixed payout fantasy sports platforms. He explains MLB PrizePicks strategies that make money long-term. Again, the goal of this video is explain the math behind sports betting & how to win long-term.

Next, Alex goes through arbitrage betting. This betting strategy is how he started sports betting & made his first $40,000 profit. Arbitrage betting is a way to guarantee a profit day trading the sportsbooks.

Alex goes through an arbitrage play between FanDuel sportsbook & Fliff. He breaks down the sports betting math. He explains the arbitrage can happen on ANY two sportsbooks, including BetMGM & FanDuel. He explains MLB player prop arbitrage bets are often very lucrative.

The OddsJam sports betting software has a tool for arbitrage here: https://oddsjam.com/betting-tools/arbitrage. Arbitrage involves placing 2+ bets on 2+ sportsbooks. When 2 bookmakers get SUPER out of sync, you can "hedge" for a profit. Bet the over on 1 sportsbook, the under on a different book & ensure a risk-free profit.

Alex explains that this sports betting is amazing for minimizing variance and winning at sports betting. Middling, or middle betting, is a somewhat related strategy that sharp, data-driven sports bettors use to make money consistently. It's all about capitalizing on inefficiencies in the market.

Arbitrage betting is very lucrative in player prop betting markets. MLB props like strikeouts, player bases often have lucrative, profitable arbitrage bets on sportsbooks like FanDuel, DraftKings & Fliff. Alex explains that arbitrage betting isn't possible on DFS fantasy platforms like PrizePicks, Underdog Fantasy & Betr Picks.

Arbitrage opportunities can of course come in traditional mainline markets as well, such as point spreads, totals and moneylines. However, there are many more prop bet markets compared to mainline markets. Player props are now the most popular bet type in the United States.

Alex explains that arbitrage betting is a very lucrative side hustle. It's how he started sharp sports betting & it made him a lot of money initially in a low-risk strategy.

The OddsJam sports betting software has MLB odds from 200+ sportsbooks here: https://oddsjam.com/mlb/odds

Alex then discusses Positive EV betting. This is a strategy for finding bets with a positive ROI. He explains how you can use sportsbook odds (e.g. market data) to find profitable MLB bets.

All of the strategies discussed in this sports betting step by step guide can be applied to various sportsbooks - it doesn't matter where you're located. FanDuel, DraftKings, PrizePicks, Fliff all have profitable arbitrage & Positive EV bets.
