Well, overall, Steam has a pretty good refund policy when it comes to gaming. You can get a refund for any game that you purchase on Steam within the last 14 days and has been played for less than two hours. You can file for a refund on games that don’t fall within this policy, but you are not guaranteed to get a refund on those games.

As far as how to get a refund on Steam, first open up Steam on your computer. Then, click on your profile in the top right of Steam. Next,select ‘Account Details’. Then, click ‘View Purchase History’.

On the next page, select the purchase for the game that you want to get a refund for. Click , I would like a refund, select your reason for a refund, and submit the refund request.

If you meet the refund requirements Steam outlines, you will be able to get a refund for your game. Even if you don’t though, Steam will allow you to submit a refund request for games that don’t exactly fall into the refund policy, but you are not guaranteed a refund. It can be worth a shot though depending on your circumstances.
