In this video, I share the cautionary tale of my close friend who was a quant trader on my trade desk at a prop trading firm in Chicago. During the rise of cryptocurrencies, he got caught up in the frenzy and lost his entire net worth of $2M and spiraled out of control from “revenge trading”.

I go on to explain how it is only human to want to make our money back after a huge trading loss, but the correct strategy we should deploy is “revenge investing”. I explain this concept through a story of my own misadventures in the investing world.
