Iran’s Majid Air Defense System Shoots Down Israeli Drone!

This video captures real footage of Iran shooting down an Israeli drone during a recent military clash. At first, Iranian forces used autocannons to try to bring down the drone — but the real success came from the short-range Majid air defense system.

The Majid system is mounted on a military jeep and uses four heat-seeking missiles. It does not rely on radar. Instead, it uses an electro-optical tracking and guidance system to lock onto aerial targets.

In this engagement, a single missile from the Majid locked onto the Israeli drone and brought it down — marking a clear success for Iran’s close-in air defense strategy.
