Iran’s army tested its 15-Khordad air defense system during the ‘Zolfaqar’ military drills, showcasing missile launches from ships and ground vehicles.

Footage also showed military movements and an operations control room monitoring the drills.

According to Iran’s state media, the Zolfaqar detection system provided three-dimensional data on enemy aircraft, allowing the 15-Khordad system to shoot them down. A Yak fighter jet and two MiG-29s were also used to track and destroy drones.

The exercise is part of Iran’s efforts to strengthen its defense amid rising regional tensions.
