During the Weekly Watchlist we review the best stocks for options trading. We go over key levels of support and resistance and create an actionable game plan for the week of December 13th 2021.

In the SPY we have rebounded and held the gap as expected from last weeks Wednesday analysis. Now the question is do we hang in limbo before the FOMC meeting on Wednesday? The weekly chart would indicate bullish, the daily chart would indicate bullish, but how much gas is left in the tank if the big 5 (Apple, Tesla, Microsoft, Nvdia, Google) all start to see some pullbacks? Monitor the gap fill in a worse case scenario, and the breakout back to highs if FOMC comes in at or better than the expectation.

In the QQQ and Nasdaq we are now actually starting to see a bit of a lag, being further off the highs and actually moving to test the top of the gap unlike the S&P500. For now keep in mind that this sector is particularly sensitive to interest rates. Breakout on positive catalyst over 400, or breakdown to fill the gap in the case FOMC brings unexpected news.

IWM and the small cap stocks are right back down in the mid point of the range. This is once again an extremely neutral signal for the market. Its not risk on, and its not risk off. We also take a look at the declining $SPXA200R to indicate and prove that the underpinnings of the market are actually declining. As mentioned earlier, the big 5 are really the ones keeping the market up at the ATH.

We also look at the following trade ideas: F, AMD, JPM, MRVL, EBAY, KHC, JNJ, TJX, ALF, APPS.

00:00 – Intro
00:34 – Broad Market (SPY, QQQ, IWM)
11:08 – Core Companies (AAPL, NFLX, TSLA, BABA, FB, NVDA, MSFT, AMZN)
23:18 – Trade Ideas (F, AMD, JPM, MRVL, EBAY, KHC, JNJ, TJX, ALF, APPS)

If you're a day trader looking to make fast money online options trading, you certainly need to keep these areas of support and resistance in mind, as well as any technical patterns, before the opening bell on Monday morning. Stock analysis like this will save you a ton of time.

Going into the day with a plan is important and will give your options trading the edge you need to be a successful retail day trader. This stock analysis gives you that edge.

Instead of looking at stock market news and googling 'stocks to trade today' or best options to buy today, every Monday morning, technical analysis makes my job a lot easier. A quick glance at the stock chart can tell me where to expect buying and selling battles.

Our core watchlist are the stocks that are always on our options trading weekly watchlist. Some people call them hot stock picks but we like to call them our ATM.
