Page Research Centre Chief Executive Gerard Holland has called out an energy “expertocracy” who are “marking their own homework” and are completely shut off from coal and nuclear.

“This is where I think we’ve been failed – you’ve got this expertocracy who are marking their own homework, who aren’t actually factoring in the full system cost, who are completely shut off to coal and nuclear because of what our politicians have dictated them,” Mr Holland told Sky News Australia.

“This means the general public is never actually shown the full picture.”
