Legalized sports betting in Ohio starts in two weeks

Sports betting in Ohio is almost here!

Ohioans cannot place a wager on sports until New Year's Day, JACK Entertainment created an app for mobile devices to practice gambling in sports.

Back in November, JACK Entertainment revealed their new betJACK Sportsbook inside of their casino in downtown Cleveland.

The 6,000 square foot sportsbook has five betting windows, as well as 20 kiosks for guests to place wagers on sports.

“We think that this is going to be one of the finest sportsbooks in the Cleveland area,” said Adam Suliman, the senior vice president of sports and digital gaming at JACK Entertainment.

JACK Entertainment invested $100 million to create a sportsbook inside JACK Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino.

Suliman told 3News that the betJACK Sportsbook was inspired by other sportsbooks across the country.

“This is a really nice amenity for folks that want to come here before a game, hangout have a beer maybe place a bet, play some table games or slots,” said Suliman.
