Making comedy games is tricky, it seems like for every laugh riot of a game developers manage to come up with, there are a million games out there that try desperately to mimic the successes of the best comedy hits but end up being painfully unfunny instead. Then, along comes Lethal Company, a horror game with no writing, no comedy talent behind it and nothing in it that could be called a joke... and it's the funniest game of the year - but how? What is it about Lethal Company that makes it so funny?

The Architect has sought out the wisdom of the great comedy sages, laughed until their sides hurt and played quite frankly way too many games that aren't funny at all to figure out the answer - the trick to videogaming laughs lie not in what a joke is being told, but who it's being told to, and how.
