There are live speed detection cameras being installed on National Highway 66 (NH 66) in Kerala as part of a new smart traffic surveillance system. The first control room for this system, which uses a network of cameras to monitor speed and provide traffic updates, is operational in Manjeshwar, and the system will be phased in on the widening six-lane stretch of the highway. Two screens will display real-time vehicle speeds to enhance driver awareness.
