NCAA president Mark Emmert said college sports may not return to schools nationwide in the fall. He said universities understand that “if you don't have students on campus, you don't have student-athletes on campus.” According to Business Insider, Emmert said it’s “simple,” if schools don’t reopen sports wouldn’t either. NCAA’s chief medical officer said testing and contact tracing measures would need to be in place before schools open. While some universities are optimistic about reopening in the fall, others are unclear of what to do.
