If you're travelling to Europe from tomorrow - leave early and be prepared for long delays as a new border system comes into force.

The 'Entry Exit System' affects UK travellers going to the Shengen area which consists of 29 European countries, including Spain, Portugal an Italy.

Passengers will now have to reigster their fingerprints and take photographs to enter and are being warned to expect queues of up to four hours.
