Only $9,500 Profit Today trading Forex on Gold and EURUSD

In this video, I go over the trades that I took today. Unfortunately, I was just able to bank $9500 profit today, so I consider this as a more or less break-even day. I took two trades on Gold and one on EURUSD, and I was just able to win one trade on Gold. Note that: Cash is the goal but never the measure of success. You should better ask yourself the question: "Did I follow my rules when I got in on trades and when I got out of trades?" Success is not measured by the money that you made that day. You can even lose money that day but still be successful because you have stuck to your plan and didn't break any of your rules.

When you attach a dollar figure to the success of whether or not you had a good day trading, you will end up making trades that you shouldn't be making, in order to make for example a thousand dollars. People who say I have to make a thousand dollars every day to pay my mortgage, to pay my bills, to do what I was making when I had a full-time job. You are going to fail because it will force you to make trades you shouldn't take normally, just to get to that goal. Here's a better way to do it, instead of making cash the goal, your goal as a measure of your success for every trading day should be: "did I follow my rules when I got in trades, and when I got out of trades?" Yes, those things will lead to cash but as long as it's not cash as the goal, you're looking at, if you're just following your rules and that becomes the goal, I promise you the cash will follow.
