During a House Ways and Means Committee hearing on the Trump administration's 2025 trade policy agenda, Representative Steven Horsford (D-NV) pressed U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer about the timing of the recently announced 90-day pause on certain tariffs. "If it was always the plan how is this not market manipulation," Horsford asked Greer.
