Russia’s newest multirole fighter jet, the Su-30SM2, is playing a decisive role in the intensifying conflict in Ukraine, according to a detailed report released by the Russian defence conglomerate Rostec. The aircraft is said to be in full-assault mode as Moscow aims to secure major battlefield gains ahead of a potential truce. Rostec claims that the Su-30SM2 has destroyed hundreds of Ukrainian aerial and ground assets, including U.S.-supplied Patriot air-defence systems, thanks to advanced radar technology, upgraded engines, modern avionics and powerful electronic-warfare capabilities.
