Ohio's most famous sportsbook owners will face new scrutiny from ohio gambling regulators, after a recent run-in with the "securities and exchange commission."

Social media star Jake Paul is the co-founder of the online betting app Betr.

He agreed to pay $101,000 dollars this week to settle allegations that he violated securities law by promoting cryptocurrency investments on twitter without disclosing that he was paid to do so.

The charges came to light two months after Paul told gaming regulators in Massachusetts they shouldn't believe all the bad news they read about him.
