In yet another expansion of the burgeoning sports betting industry in the United States, gamblers in the state of New York will be able to place mobile sports bets starting Saturday. Local elected officials say this could generate an estimated $500 million in tax dollars per year, mirroring revenue generated in neighboring states last year.
