This Option Trader Sold His Business For Stock Market Trading | Big Bull Series Ep-61

In our previous stock market podcast, you might have seen many option sellers. But this time, the option seller in our stock market podcast doesn't use stop loss, instead, he spends screen time during market hours.

Today on our Big Bull Podcast, we're joined by SUGRIV SINGH GURJAR, originally from Jhansi and now living in Noida. He is a Full-Time Option Seller.

He first knows about the stock market from newspapers and decided to try it out after watching online videos. He began with the equity segment and the broker he chose suggested buying PNB shares when he opened his account.

Due to the Nirav Modi case, he faced a loss of 15 to 20 lakhs, so he stopped trading in the stock market. Later, during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he also had to close his transportation business and when he was free, he thought about trading in the stock market again.

He opened a new account and started trading with a small amount of money. As his profits grew, he withdrew all the money. Then, he began Option Selling with the money he earned from equity trading.

He gradually started learning about Option Selling from YouTube, watching videos late at night until 3-4 am, and gaining basic knowledge about things like calls and puts. After learning well from YouTube, he started Option Selling.

He believes that when he learned about option buying and option selling, he found option selling to be easier than option buying. He sees option buying as a kind of gamble, so he chose to trade in option selling instead of option buying.

He says that he doesn't use a stop loss in trading; instead, he spends time looking at the screen during market hours. The biggest problem with his strategy could be that you have to spend a lot of time looking at the screen. For those who can't spend that much time looking at the screen, this strategy won't work.
