In the early 80s, Donkey Kong was the arcade hit — and everyone wanted a version at home. Coleco got the rights to make ports for multiple consoles, including the Atari 2600 and Intellivision… but there was a catch.
Their own system, the ColecoVision, had a version that looked amazing — while the others looked awful. And that might not have been an accident.
