In this sports betting 101 video, Matt explains what a push is in sports betting. This is a sports betting for beginners concept. As a sports bettor, it is important to understand these sports betting concepts and sports betting principles.

Matt is a profitable sports bettor who has been doing a series of sports betting tips and strategies to help sports bettors enhance their sports betting knowledge. In this video he explains what a push is.

A push is essentially the same thing as a tie. It is when you place a bet that neither wins or loses, it hits exactly the number you bet on. So, for example, if you bet Kansas -4 and they win by exactly 4 then that bet has pushed.

A push can also happen in a totals bet, a spread bet, a prop bet, or even a moneyline bet. For example, if you bet on a teams moneyline and that game ends in a tie- that bet would push.

Overall, if your bet pushes then all that happens is you get your money back- you get your bet refunded. So, you don't get any winnings or lost your stake as well.
