2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Repeated Alternator Failures | Full Charging System Diagnosis

In this video, I take a detailed look at a customer’s 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has gone through three alternators in a very short period of time. The alternators keep failing, and the customer is looking for a second opinion along with a thorough inspection of the entire charging system to find the real cause of the problem.
We go back to basics and walk through proper charging system checks, including voltage output, voltage drop testing, and overall system integrity. Rather than throwing another alternator at it and hoping for the best, we diagnose the vehicle correctly to determine why the failures keep happening and what needs to be fixed to prevent it from happening again.
This video is a good refresher on fundamental electrical diagnostics and a reminder of why testing always beats guessing.
